A multilingual poetry collection to rescue an endangered Mediterranean heritage written in Sanna and Greek with English and Turkish translations. Kormakitis, which is the only Maronite-Cypriot village where sanna is spoke, is the poetic field site and anchor for this collection of poetic life writing, autoethnography, and community poetics. Terzus will take you on an immersive journey – a walk through the village experiencing the scented stories of ancestral tulips, fauna and people of Kormakitis; and then look outwards to a diverse array of people, places and times – with a distinct Kormakitis cartography that actively reconstructs Cyprus, the Mediterranean and our World.
