Paul Stewart was raised in Nottingham, UK, but has spent the past 15 years in Cyprus as a Professor of English literature at the University of Nicosia.
As an academic, he is the author of two books on Samuel Beckett – Zone of Evaporation: Samuel Beckett’s Disjunctions (Rodopi, 2006) and Sex and Aesthetics in Samuel Beckett Works (Palgrave, 2011) – as well as numerous journal articles.
His first collection of poetry, And Other Elsewheres, was published in 2006.
Now Then is his first novel.
He is also both a stage and film actor.
He lives with his wife and two sons in Nicosia.
