Sascha Garzetti was born in 1986. He studied German, History and Scandinavian Literature at the University of Zurich. Today he teaches German at a Secondary High School and Creative Writing at a Community College. Some cycles of poems have been translated into English, Spanish, Greek, Ukrainian, Russian and Bosnian. Garzetti also runs writing workshops for young adults. He is part of the Project “Einsames Begräbnis”, where authors write poems for people who have died lonely and recite them at their funeral. In 2022 he received a grant for a current manuscript. Most recently, the volume of poetry “Mund und Amselfloh” was published (Wolfbach Verlag Zurich, 2018)
