Baret Yacoubian was born on March 11th 1981 in Nicosia, Cyprus….
He has spent most of his life there save for travels in Europe and attending university in London.
At twenty-four, he published his first novel, Avalo (2005) which was a local success and became the subject of many magazines, newspapers, radio shows and literary journals on the island.
He currently still lives in Nicosia and continues to work and write prose.
