A magical trip in time awaits you tomorrow, the 19th of May, with Lina Ellina's debut novel “The Venetian”!

The Venetian“ has been selected as a candidate for the European Book Prize 2012 and will be available for 0,00$ for 24 hours! In order to come up with more free Kindles in the future, we expect our readers to write a small review on Amazon once they have read the book!

Lina Ellina combines the best of two worlds: Italy and Cyprus, the Middle Ages and the 21st century… “The Venetian” is “an excellent novel where myth and fact are skillfully interwoven and developed…” (Andreas Christou – Mayor of Limassol)

About the book:

How is modern Italy related to medieval Cyprus? What common history do both countries share? Through the lives of two men and two women, we embark on an adventure that starts in the Middle Ages in Venice and culminates in two arduous love affairs connecting the path of each character.

Two Italians leave their country for Cyprus for different reasons, fully unaware of how their lives will change forever. In 2010, Lorenzo Zanetti leaves Rovigo, a town south-west of Venice, in the attempt to find a possible connection between his own family and Marin Zanetti, a Venetian who had left Italy in 1467 to become a mill and estates supervisor in Cyprus. The only information Lorenzo retains from his possible ancestor, apart from his name, is his final destination. How will Lorenzo, five centuries later, find out more about Marin and his own origins? What role does a Cypriot woman, oddly named Marina Zanettou, play in his search? Could she be more than Lorenzo’s private guide? Only the reader will find out to what extent both men are touched b

y the natural beauty that surrounds them. Through Lina Ellina’s pen, we will embark on two parallel, unpredictable and unforgettable journeys.

Every second day a new FREE Kindle:

“The Secret of the Elements” by Christos Tsotsos started Armida Publications’ FREE Kindle-week on Friday, the 11th of May. The book sheds a new light on the topic of religion and reveals that Satan does actually like black tea, but prefers it with a drop of milk. When Grandma Basilica invited him for a drink on her veranda, she managed to trick the devil who had come to buy her soul. Her grandson, Barto, will be the lucky one to meet Satan again and, by playing his cards right, he will discover the Secrets of the Elements.

A full success was Richard Romanus‘ novel “Chrysalis”. On Tuesday, the 15th of May, more than 7600 Kindle-readers benefited from our amazing offer and downloaded the book for free! We are so excited to hear your thoughts about this novel and read your review on Amazon! Isn’t Maria-Christina’s story unbelievably touching and compelling at once?

Stella K's novel “The Closing”, Armida Publications’ latest release, was our FREE Kindle for Friday, the 18th of May. “Who says that a romantic adventure needs an artificial feel-good element to make it worthwhile? Life doesn’t throw the dice in a gentle manner and even the gentlest of touches may hide a sting. Who says that women can’t be smart and beautiful, selfless and ambitious, all together? It’s time to wash away the clichés; to shatter the barriers; to diversify and conquer. “The Closing” is all about that.” (Stella K)
